I have a side by side fridge/freezer. We have found that the freezer has issues with ice cream and keeping it hard. The ice cream will run out of the container after coming right out of the freezer. I've played with the temperature with no results. Other items (meat, ice, vegetables, etc) are frozen solid. I've looked behind the kick plate and removed as much dust build up as possible. I will say the coils under the fridge/freezer do have a bit of a dust build up. The side by side is a Kenmore Elite.

Any freezer experts out there with some recommendations? Any trouble shooting I can do to resolve the issue? Am I destined to have to settle for runny ice cream? Thanks for any help!
