If I am not sure, I put it in the blue bin. The blue bin contents apparently gets sorted by hand, so let the sorters decide!
I have heard both sides with regards to styrofoam.....it can be recycled vs it can not be recycled, there fore I put it in the blue bin and the sorters can decide if it is garbage or not.
