Ok same house - but the dip####s who lived here prior filled up a garbage bin full of black dirt and ashes.

Are the ashes/dirt ok to spread out in flower beds? Are they a decent fertilizer?

I should also mention that by flower bed, I mean directly onto the back lawn and by lawn I mean the dirt and weed area where a lawn should be.
