We're not thinking of the whole song, of course. I think most advocates for the track are assuming that it would be edited to include the intro then jump to an extended (looped) version of the chorus. Most goal songs are edited to put emphasis on a certain part of the song, as the goal celebrations typically last only about 30 seconds. The verses wouldn't be used in this case, also since the language and subjects in the verses are somewhat inappropriate.
