I'm not sure what happened in this encounter, but what I am sure of is that the "protest" being organized on her behalf is ridiculous. Let's see, she is allegedly assaulted, and the officer is assigned to desk duty while the incident is being investigated by the RCMP. I'm not sure where the system has failed us - yet. Isn't that about exactly how we should expect things to work?
