If you are intending to use it primarily for work functions (messaging of all kinds), the Z10 is great. If you're expecting to get an app-rich experience like an iPhone out of the box, you'll be disappointed. The core messaging/facebook/twitter experience is really, really good. The integration with Dropbox, as well as Blackberry Link (remotely access files on your desktop from anywhere) is eye opening for a former iPhone user. The onscreen keyboard is superb. Finally, if your work device is going to be managed, the Blackberry Balance system is great - really unobtrusive, and provides nice separation between work and personal stuff.
I have no idea about Windows phone - people I know that have them seem to like them, but I only ever see them using the stock apps, so I don't really know - never seen a Windows Phone power user. The UI is awfully pretty though (in my opinion).
No idea about Windows phone app support - I assume its pretty cruddy, like the BB.
That being said, Android support/compatibility on the Z10 is going to get a big shot in the arm with BB OS 10.2, which will be released soon, and I've already got apps like Instagram, Netflix, SiriusXM, Rdio, Google Maps, and others, working fine on the Z10.
