I keep telling myself things like "Revenge is best served on a cold plate", "Living well is the best revenge",etc but I think any revenge is lost on some people, so in my case it's not even worth it.
Kybosh, I think we'll get our revenge when we sell our places and move (to a very thoroughly researched location haha). These people can't move away from their misery, although I'm not convinced my neighbor is really miserable. There are so many theories around about bullies like this, or sociopaths or whatever. She truly seemed to enjoy the havoc she wreaked on other people when I hung around with her. We had been friendly, but man her behavior got really weird as she let her guard down. I made so many allowances for her; that's what hurts most.

Oddly enough there are plenty anti-fabric softener forums out there. They're mainly from people who are allergic or who believe the scent is carcinogenic.
I don't bomb this woman's pool filter (just outside my window), or try to kill her talking bird, or yell at her when she walks around making loud woop woop noises in the middle of the night. I did yell at her once when she came outside at 2am to do her gut wrenching cough routine. That had gone on for 3 years.
I bought a sound machine to help me sleep at night. One morning before work I forgot to shut it off. The second I pulled into my driveway that night she came over yelling and screaming that she shouldn't have to listen to my staticky radio all day, as she is quiet. There is no reasoning with this person.
