Heh. My dad refers to the road between Tantallon and Boutillier's Point as "The Snake Turn". If you think the twisty roads are fun in a car, try it on a motorbike.

For the farmers market, I still prefer the old one in the brewery rather than the new one. But the old "historic market" (and oldest farmers market In North America) is only open on Saturdays for 7am to 2pm. Buy yourself a cinnamon bun from Mary's Bread Basket. Your tongue will love you... Your thighs not so much.

In Halifax harbour you can go on a tall ship ride. Or you can go to Point Pleasant Park.

Yeah, whomever mentioned the good shoes.... They are right. I didn't notice just how hilly it was until I did my marathon. Some of those hills are a killer.
