Not to hijack the thread but that still doesn't get old for me. They're currently working on extending the boardwalk to the marine terminal. And now that Wentworth Park is redone the harbour front walk is simply awesome, IMO.
Now back to Halifax,
Lower Deck, Old Triangle, Ale House are great places to drink. Ale House is an awesome combination of maritime pub/dance club (would only ever work out here).
Oh the Hydrostone is a neat little area as well.
Halifax has lots of hidden gems. You can just wonder and enjoy.
