Funny that you say that given that each time you've attempted to adjust your position all you've done is double down on a lake (and not just any lake, but your lake) being objectively better. That's the part people are taking issue with.
Your lake looks nice, I'd probably enjoy a BBQ in a lakeside yard, but I'd never want to live there. It offers nothing that appeals to me on a day to day basis, and that opinion is shared by numerous people. You probably wouldn't like living in my apartment, or my neighborhood, and that opinion is also shared by numerous people. We all value different things, and it is possible to sit here and discuss what those things are and why certain places meet those needs without resorting to declarations that certain things are inherently valuable when they clearly are not, or that certain personal opinions on what is valued carry more authority than others.
