This is hilarious simply because it's internally inconsistent. You maintain something to be objectively true, but you're prepared to accept that a lot of people will take differing views on it. Almost as if it's a matter of opinion or something!

No, not unless you meant a black hole in the literal sense. I.e. if every non-lake community had its own gravitational well which sucked in all light and matter, obliterating the community itself and everyone in it. Otherwise, if you simply mean a large empty space, that's still a matter of opinion. I may just happen to really, really love frisbee, and want a large empty space wherein I can throw a frisbee around.

Anyway, if my options were "live in Lake Bonavista or quit your job and leave the city", I'd be typing a resume. I cannot stand to live any significant distance from the central hub of bars, restaurants, and work, which is why I live 2 blocks north of 17th. Of course, that's just me.
