The only people that would argue for public govt insurance are:
A) crappy drivers that want everyone else to foot the bill for their crappy driving and accidents.
B) High risk new drivers that want everyone else to pay higher rates for their higher risk.
Other than that if you are a good claims free driver, that follows the rules of the road, there will always be a bargain basement rate out there for you. I have 2 cars with collision, a motorcycle and an RV insured for just under 2000/year. Not in a million years would that be do-able under BC or sask commie insurance.
