Geez have you ever even been here? A Safeway shares a parking lot with the lake. There is a mall, walk-in clinic, dentist, restaurants and pubs in the same parking lot as well. Avenida is in Bonavista, as is a movie theater and gym.
It's a strange group we have here sometimes. Every person I know in real life would answer "true" to the following statement: All things being equal, it is nicer to live by an amenity-filled lake than to not.
