As many haters as it has, it has the equal amount that love it. You couldn't be more wrong when say it was a disappointment.
Days of Futures past is building off the solid Xmen Franchise and the renewed love for it because of how good First Class was. I have my concerns, but you're beyond off base here.

I'm a big fan of both Prometheus and First Class. A lot of the knocks against Prometheus can be made agaisnt he original Alien too or just about any sci-fi/horror flick. The problem was it was disected under a microscope, when it's a concept that by it's very nature requires suspension of disbelieft.
First Class, I went into with extremely low expectations. X3 and Wolverine Blew. Based on the ad campaign, I thought this would be some kind of WB teen movie. I couldn't have been more wrong.
Fasbender's performances save both films IMO and turn two good films into two great films.
