No, he's not saying that at all. He's saying that a community that he likes more, because it has a lake, is objectively better, which is total BS.
Lake communities simply do not offer everything that other communities do, that's just the way it is. Which lake community offers a 5 minute walk to downtown? Which lake community offers the density that some of us enjoy? If you like hanging out at lakes, then yes, a lake community is great. But that's a subjective stance based on your values, not an objective declaration that lakes are better than no lakes.
