After watching the excellent MSNBC sex slaves series over the last few weeks, news like this is great to see.
There's the old debate that prostitution is a victimless crime, but after watching the horror show that some of these girls go through, and the way the survivors of prostitution talk about it it can't be seen as a victimless crime as long as you have predatory John's looking for young girls and boys, and pimps there to exploit it.
There was one done in San Antonio Texas where Cantina's paid to have young girls kidnapped in Mexico, and young American girls lured by the promise of nice clothes. They were then locked in these Cantina's 24 hours a day and basically treated like a piece of meat.
There's an argument for legalization and safe work environments for these girls, and I'm ok with that if there are solid options to get them out of what is a soul killing business.
But there will always be a market for underground brothels and other worse stuff.
I don't know, it just seems like paying a girl for sex who probably hates you, is probably a pretty empty experience.
