I'm far from a Trek fan boy. I mean, I liked the Next Generation but go through my previous Trek posts.. I haven't seen any of the original Trek show and some of the movies.

If that makes it easier for you to brush aside my valid and correct criticisms though, then more power to you.

But the only movie that was better reviewed that was released to a wide audience that year was Up.

That makes more sense, since it wasn't even the best Sci-Fi movie of 2009.

Brutal year overall it seems though. Easier for trash like that to shine.
