Byron i have Zero desire to see ever with the Flames. Please let the Flames have several better choices to call up over Byron.

I like both of these signings for the Heat and hope that both guys have exceptional bounce back years after their injuries.
I think Bouma will have no problem embracing the 4th line role. He was doing a great job of it prior to his injury and I think that if he starts out with the Heat and gets his feet wet he could come up to the big club and make Jackman expendable / tradeable. (Its not that I want Jackman off the team but with the team in rebuild mode I would target a team out east that needs some grit and send them Jackman for a pick)
Byron can do one thing that would make me really happy: find his game and become a trade-worthy asset. As a fast, undersized center all I can really think of to do with him is shift him to the wing and hope he can start putting up a bunch of points again then put him up on the trade block for a natural RW.
