That was me, but I didn't say he was non-aggressive. He's completely aggressive - much more so than the past two seasons. You put a pinky toe in his goalie's blue paint and you're going to pay for it. You take a cheap shot at one of his teammates and he'll make you wish you didn't. He's not an overly huge, out-of-his-way type of hitter, but it probably feels like it when he does a normal check.
Trust me, Breen's aggressiveness is not an issue whatsoever. I fully expect him to start the season with the Heat, but I can't see him not playing his first NHL game next season.

I really hope he can find his way onto the Flames roster straight out of camp. I would much rather have Breen playing big and mean on the bottom pairing than SOB. Having said that, I am sure it is just a matter of time before the injury call ups give him a chance to come up and show us what he can do.
Mainly, I would really like to see Breen get some NHL seasoning now so that he isn't as green when it is Kanzig's turn to join the roster as a rookie.
At that point I expect great things from the giants. I don't even know what I would rather see, them both on the ice together crushing people or splitting them up so that one of them is always available to throw the opposition around.
