The insanity in Edmonton Continues:
RNH 6-0 171
Eberle 5-10 174
Gagner 5-11 191
Hall 5-11 180
Yakipov 5-11 190
Perron 5-11 170 - 195 (various sources)
Justin Schultz 6-1 163
Hemsky 6-0 192
This team is smaller and less physical than the Saskatoon Blades that went to the Memorial Cup.
McTavish had an understanding of this when he took over as GM. Hemsky was going to be moved. Likely one of the small top guys were going.
The fact that there was not going to be anywhere near what would be considered equal value for the small guys coming back (Think Tanguay for David Jones, or Kassian for Hodgson) McTavish is doubling down and going small yet for another losing season and locking in to make it even harder to fix.
If this team somehow made the playoffs how would you coach against them in a seven game series?
