The Norris goes to the best defenseman THIS PAST SEASON and Subban had a phenomenal (half) season. People often complain about awards going to the bigger name instead of the guy with the better season. Lidstrom should have won the Norris at least a couple of times before he won his first one and probably didn't fully deserve to win a trophy or two after that.
