I've seen enough of Buowmeester to know he shouldn't be on the team. At least Schultz can put the puck in the net. His wrister is probably harder than Buow's slapper.

The point is, there are a lot of other Canadian defensemen that can put the puck in the net AND do everything else very well to exceptional. Shea Weber, Drew Doughty, Alex Pietrangelo, Duncan Keith, Brent Sea Brook all with equal or better offensive instincts and far superior defensive, neutral zone, and transitional play than Schultz.
Schultz may get to camp because Kevin Lowe will scream and stomp and cry until he does, but he won't be much further than that unless he takes huge strides over the summer.
