To that subject, however, I would ask the original poster if he believes that there is no threat of terror in the United States and that all the terror alerts since 9-11 have been the result of the Bush administration trying to manipulate public perception?
I wouldn't say there are no terror threats to the USA. But I have seen Wag the Dog and I certainly wouldn't put this past the current administration.

as to the original point you were making, I think the Bush administration will do everything they can to NOT raise the alert level because your thoughts are shared by a lot of people.
