Tavares - Crosby - Stamkos looks lethal, my concern is there would be too much pressure on Crosby to be the lead forechecker.
Staal - Crosby - Stamkos would be more effective, I think.
Tavares is an emerging star (not so emerging anymore, I guess) but I have a hard time fitting him in on the lines...perhaps it's just I haven't seen him play enough as I rarely watch the Islanders.

I totally agree with you, but Crosby setting up two pure snipers would be exciting, I think putting staal to dig and get the puck out of the corners could work nicely.
I really like the Getz,Nash, perry line, imagine the cycle game those three would display. I could see full shifts where they just dominate down low. It reminds me of that dominant line in the world championships when nash, Getz heatley were the most dominant line of the tourney, and had a glorious scoring chance almost every shift.
