I'll put it to you this way. Cory Sarich, with his ever diminishing skill set and speed, was much more trustworthy compared to Butler. I'm saying that Butler's flaws are mental, and if he ever figured it out he could be a decent NHL defenseman. I'm not trying to give a pass to any other Flames player either...I'm simply talking about Butler's pros and cons. I'd be ecstatic if he proved me wrong, but I have a feeling he will be a borderline NHL player in a season or two.
