If this team is willing to pay Butler 1.7 and a guy like Babchuk 5mil for playing 39 games over the last two years.... then Brodie is easly worth 2.3-2.5 on a two year deal. There is a no way he should sign for less than Butler is getting. If you didn't want to pay him that much, than there is no way Butler should be where he's at. I would have been OK with Butler at 1.1 not much more.
