We can get into a philosophical discussion about the legality and morality of prostitution.
Aren't some relationships and marriages a form of prostitution? Some women are only with their husbands because they can provide them with a higher standard of living and a weekly stipend or living allowance to buy clothes, nice things etc.
Once a man withdraws these financial stipends sometimes the 'relationship'.
will end.
These gentleman who marry women or enter into relationships with women that are out of their league should be charged with prostitution as well if we follow the same logic of the law "Paying for Sex". But its legal because its a 'committed relationship"
Some of the concerns about prostitution are that women are taken advantage of and controlled by 'pimp's or 'managers'. In these cases, prostitution is certainly not ideal and problematic. However, if Prostitution was made legal and more convenient streams of advertising and coordination were made available to prostitutes or escorts, wouldn't this cut out the middle-man or pimp?
