Unlike say, the Oilers, the Flames already seem to have a plethora of decent pieces in place. The Oilers could have turned it around a lot quicker if they would have added support pieces and had good coaching/management. 4-5 years is so frigging long in the professional sports world. I could easily see the Flames being a competitive team in 2-3 years.
