Fuji X-PRO-1 gets decent reviews but it is a digital rangefinder camera (mirrorless), you know, right? Very different from a D800 or D800E, which are full-frame DSLRs. I have played with an idea of getting a lighter weight camera for traveling and tested X-PRO-1. You get good resolution but not too much flexibility because of the limited lens selection. In that case, why not buy a cheaper point'n'shoot? I settled buying a smaller DX-format DSLR instead (D5200). The funny thing is though, I still take D800E or D3X to travel, even though they are heavy and bulky.
