Why don't they just bring in StayGolden to get this one done really quick and painlessly?
StayGolden just walks into the room and goes "hey TJ, SG here. Listen, 1.4 - 1.7 mil on a 1 or 2 year contract. Write in whichever variation of that you want, then sign on the line, then I will walk out to the media and go 'Done!', and then I will fire feaster and be the new GM of the Flames. "What do you mean you're not accepting that and want to negotiate? Listen, I don't think you understand how contracts work. I come in and offer you something, you sign it, and then I go 'Done! and it's done".
