I think the simple way to do it which should be reasonalbe for the players would be that a prospect can't turn down a rookie max deal. So if we offer a pick the rookie max then they can't sign with anyone else. This protects both the players and the teams. If the teams aren't willing to invest a max contract then the players can go elsewhere but if the team wants the player a rookie shouldn't be able to choose to go somewhere else or re-enter the draft.
As for JG there is no need to worry until he goes back for his senior year. If that happens I will be very concerned.
