I think 3 years at $2.5 per would be fair and maybe a bargain for the Flames but Feaster would want to give less money.
P.K. Subban only got $2.875M per over two years though although it breaks down to $2M for first year and $3.75 for the second so he's looking at a big raise next summer. Maybe we'll see something like $2M, $2.5M, and $3M for Brodie and he'll be worth every penny.
Flames won't want to give him a four year contract that takes him to UFA status as they will lose bargaining power.
