I like what Feaster is doing, in keeping him on a short term contract. If he progresses the way we think he will, Feaster and ownership will have no problem ponying up the dough. Pay him big when he deserves it, not before.

Kind of interesting though, Karl Alzner is a good young D-man (24 years old) and just signed a 4 year, 2.8 per with the Caps. Although the two bring different things to the table, I think we may be over-valuing Brodie's worth at this very momment.
