Flames Fanatic posted his comments for Group A. I think it'd be amazing if Gillies was at Berra's level already.

Spoiler!
Quote:
Group A Day 2
91 - Acciari, Noel - C uh I don't think I've noticed much from him at the half. The 90+ players are usually the ones getting victimized by our better guys. Got hurt near the end of the practice. Got hit not that hard when he wasn't expecting it and landed awkwardly. Had to be help off by Gelinas.
40 - Berra, Reto - G still good early, not as good as yesterday at the start. Keep an eye out. Like Gilles looked way better once he warmed up for the 2 om 0's. was on the far end for the breakaways, but for the bit I did see looked about as good as Gilles.
75 - Carroll, Austin - RW nice goal top corner. Then a nice reach around. For a big guy he moves really well.
67 - Culkin, Ryan - LD on the far side almost from the start for the first half. We'll see if that continues. Beauty top corner. Nice breakaway goal. Won his groups first race. Won 2nd too, with Lewis hot on his tail
95 - DeBlouw, Matt - C I actually noticed him! Group B Day 2.
79 - Ferland, Michael - LW nice job early on the shooting drills. Nice snipe. Great leadership cheering his teammates on.
53 - Gaudreau, Johnny - LW still pretty darn fast. Continues to victimize the goalies. It just keeps happening, it's not even fair. He's got at least a half a dozen pretty ish goals after two sets of shooting drills. It's continuing to be unfair for the defense and goalies. Is getting pushed around a little at times. Haven't seen him as much 5 on 5
82 - Gillies, Jon - G looking a little more human today during the first shooting drills. Looked much better on the 2 on 0's. guess he just needed to warm up. Did really well for the breakaway drill
83 - Gilmour, John - LD haven't noticed by the halfway point n
58 - Hanowski, Ben - RW looked really good 1 on 1. Looks faster today. Good hustle.
97 - Harrison, Tim - RW - looks pretty skinny for his frame. Plays quite well defensively, and has a solid shot. His protective gear is big on him lol
70 - Hoffman, Brody - G getting torn apart by the 2 on 0's. robbed Klimchuk once. Just getting ruined on the breakaways. Not having much more luck 5 on 5. 1-3 so far. Lost his composure a lot during the breakaway drills.
21 Horak, Roman - C nice goal on Gilles. He's shooting exceptionally well today. Pots another. Skating really well 5 on 5
64 - Howse, Ryan - RW shooting well, skating is still noticeably better. 5 hole goal.
52 - Klimchuk, Morgan - LW - solid edge control on the one skate drill. Much better skating from him today early on. Far better offensively too. The difference between yesterday and today is huge. So much better. Nice snipe
10 - Knight, Corban - C solid skating drills out of him again. Still got one of the best wrist shots. Turned a guy inside out three times in the same play. Did it again and scored 1 on 1. Wins his groups first race, Klimchuk and horak right on his ass. Clear winner 2nd time.
98 - Leonard, Curtis - LD played very physical on the 1 on 1's. cleared the puck off the line.
78 - Lewis, Trey - LD got victimized a few times by the high skills guys. Nice goal breakaway drill.
68 - Martin, James - LD again one of the guys who continuously catches my eye during the skating drills.
23 - Monahan, Sean - C - solid turning radius. Nice speed on the sprints. Good lateral movement with the puck. Just had a great 5 hole goal. Just dangled the **** outta Lewis for a goal. Beauty. Top corner goal. Very impressed with his two way play. Comes back behind the net to get the puck, passes it up and manages to catch up with the play by the opposing blue line and carries it deep. Came second in his groups first race. Part of a five way tie for first 2nd time lol.
74 - Padakin, Pavlo - RW - can puck handle in a phone booth. Beauty. Won his groups first heat
84 - Roy, Eric - LD most accurate shot amongst group A defense. Snipe shot goal on Gilles. Forced Klimchuk into the corner and didn't let him out with the puck.
90 - Van Brabrant, Bryce - LW hard shot for sure
Gilles, Berra and the defense did a great job 5 on 5. Only saw one or two on the,m.
