I doubt it. This should likely stoke the fears of the chicken littles who brought it up in the first place. In their minds just having this mentioned in the media lends some level of credibility to their fears, regardless of what the team and player have to say. The only thing these articles do prove is reporters from the Herald and Sun lurk this board and get ideas for their stories from the discussions going on, and reporters are more than willing to indulge irrational fears to sell papers.
