91 - Acciari, Noel - C - Did not stand out

40 - Berra, Reto - G - Was pretty good. Certainly a better goalie in his first North American action than Henrik Karlsson. Fairly quick and doesn't give up on the play. Huge, covers most of the net when on his knees. Neither Berra or Gillies gave up a lot of goals.

75 - Carroll, Austin - RW - Didn't notice him

67 - Culkin, Ryan - LD - Didn't notice him

95 - DeBlouw, Matt - C - Didn't notice him

79 - Ferland, Michael - LW - Good effort, definitely has potential, even if only on the 3rd/4th line.

60 - Gaudreau, Johnny - LW - If he makes the NHL, he'll be in the same conversation as Briere. All that remains to be determined is if he can adapt to the pro game.

82 - Gillies, Jon - G - Awesome goalie for a 19 year old. He'll be an NHL goalie if he remains as is. He'll be a star if he continues to progress.

83 - Gilmour, John - LD - Did not notice

58 - Hanowski, Ben - RW - Good effort, his skating looked better and less awkward. Could compete for a 3rd/4th line role this season.

97 - Harrison, Tim - RW - Laid a big hit on someone. His rep as a banger is well founded.

70 - Hoffman, Brody - G - In my opinion, he performed slightly better than Ortio and Brossoit. That's not good for those two.

51 - Horak, Roman - C - I didn't even know he was there

64 - Howse, Ryan - RW - Terribad

52 - Klimchuk, Morgan - LW - Will be a goal scorer with that shot. Despite not being 6 feet, he did not look small at all.

10 - Knight, Corban - C - Looked like an NHLer. He's not going to score 50 points at any point, but a good 3rd line C in the making regardless.

98 - Leonard, Curtis - LD - Did not notice

78 - Lewis, Trey - LD - Long hair. other than that, not noticable.

68 - Martin, James - LD - did not notice.

23 - Monahan, Sean - C - Reminded me a lot of Patrick Marleau. Solid all round game. I'd like to see him go back to Ottawa though just so we don't rush him. He'll be a 60-80 point guy in the NHL.

74 - Padakin, Pavlo - RW - He's fast. Other than that....

84 - Roy, Eric - LD - Did not really notice.

90 - Van Brabrant, Bryce - LW - Surprisingly good. I looked at his stats in the NCAA and he only posted 13 points last year. Looked like he had better hands and skill than that. I'd sign him without question, even through just one practice. At worst he'll be a decent AHL guy, and he could be a lot more.
