Smart move by MacT, I must admit. Needed to trade some youth for experience and this adds to Oilers depth, which is still a weakness.

As a Flames fan I can look at the bright side and be glad the Oilers got a player that is somewhat redundant (as Moon says) for their high-end prospect + 2nd rd pick.

Edit: wow 4 x $3.8125 seems like a lot to pay Perron. I can see why StL traded him.
