I agree though as one poster said, "my dad is tougher than your dad" mentality exists when some try to argue over why they presume their favorite city is better.

I truly believe Burmistrov wouldnt be any happier in Calgary vs Winnipeg, if he was looking at it from a city perspective. He just took the money in the KHL I presume, and went. Plus, its his home country.

However, lets just be honest here, in my opinion, Wpg has horrible winters and Calgary has horrible summers. Winnipeg has better summers and Calgay has a better winter. Lastly, Winnpeg does have hot and attractive women on average. Next to Montreal and possibly Toronto, Winnipeg is right up there with attractive women, but unlike Calgary, when you do go out there is pretty much an equal one to one ratio. If not more women. Keep in mind, I am talking the 20-35 year old range.
Can't speak for Winnipeg, however I've spent a few weeks in July/August in Calgary and in comparison to the Maritimes summers, Calgary has fantastic weather. Nova Scotia is basically all rain or very humid heat.
