Well obviously, but my point was in general.
Most (but not all) professional gangs largely operate on illegal funding. Cut off a major source of their income (while having those revenues now come into the government, which trickles down to us), and that's only a good thing.
I don't think there would be significant increases in marijuana usage if it was legalized, either. Just because something is now legal doesn't mean you're going to start smoking it.
