He went from gaudreau size (5'8) to 6'2-1/2 in his draft year. Drafted him as super skinny, less than 170 pounds. In one year he gained 20 pounds, and leaped from high school level to NCAA. Put up some reasonable points 0.50 per game while both adapting to his frame and learning how to utilize it. He has had so many obstacles this past year and such high expectations from the flames faithful after drafting talents like baertschi and gaudreau.
Currently the kid stands at 6'3 and currently weights 190 pounds. He will have some off time now to continue hitting the gym before NCAA starts again, and we will see if he can prove to be a better player come next season. Jankowski is the definition along with gaudreau of a boom or bust player and is so raw that I hope we see something amazing out of him this season.
HM:
Baertschi for his calder run
Monahan to see what he is all about
Gilles should have a break out year and hype as starter for USA world Jr.
Poirier for his insane speed
Klimchuk to see what he is all about, and how much like eberle he truly is
Ramo, Bera, Ortio goaltending dual
Etc.. etc...

I don't think Rämö is at the camp.
