Which city are you talking about???
Ever hear of the Exchange District? It's filled with turn-of-the-century architecture, and has been preserved quite well. Modern architecture is overrated. What is so great about razing every old building in the city, and replacing it with 50 story business skyscrapers?
I'm all for progress, but you should hold on to buildings from the past. It gives a city it's character.
As for the women, Winnipeg has always had a reputation of having some of the most attractive woman in the country. It's been like that for ages. That's one thing I miss about my hometown.
