Nah, considering that Weisbrod was a collegiate scout for Boston and the draft was all about Taylor vs Tyler, Weisbrod likely had little to do with drafting Seguin.
Regardless, we've seen time and time again that when a scout or GM likes a player, he keeps tabs on the player and takes some convincing to change his mind. Even if stories about Seguin were true, it's quite easy for someone like Weisbrod to simply dismiss it as immaturity if Weisbrod really liked Seguin in the past.
