If the rumour is true, then good on them. Seems they are committed to a full proper rebuild without trying to find shortcuts, and that's a positive. Seguin's a very talented young player, but we are at the beginning of the rebuild and I believe we now have to stockpile young assets. Seguin would have cost a lot (really, some people here seem to underestimate Eriksson quite a bit) and he simply isn't worth giving up three good young assets. You make this kind of trade in later stages of the rebuild when you have amassed many young promising pieces and you can afford to give up 2 or 3 of them to get the final piece of the rebuild. We're far away from that point and I'm happy that the rumours of dealing Sven, Johnny etc are over for now.
