Frankly, we don't do well in comparison to the Dallas offer. We don't have a guy like Eriksson and we don't have a prospect like Morrow, unless we were to kick in Brodie. We might be able to match the other two prospects, but the top two players from Dallas are hard for us to meet without carving a whole in our team/system.

why would Morrow be that much of a better prospect than Cunardi?
He didn't exactly rip it up in his first AHL season and Dallas in a similar situation to Calgary they didn't call Morrow up for a look.
In Boston he is at least a year away .
Pittsburgh gave him up along with a 5th round pick for 34-year old Brendan Morrow who is rapid decline.
Pittsburgh (and Dallas) did not consider him to be worth a late 1st round pick which he was.
