Seriously though, I don't put much stock into second hand accounts of how big a jerk Shinkaruk may or may not be as a person. But he didn't fall from top ten to late first round without reason. And I think that reason has a lot to do with flaws in his game that many teams identified and dislike. |
Purely a guess from his stat line, but I suspect a lot of those teams are concerned because his development appears to have plateaued. There is some risk that the Shinkaruk you see at age 17 is the best Shinkaruk you'll ever get.
