Shinkaruk was ranked around 10 in most predictions, meaning that Philadelphia, Phoenix, Winnipeg, Columbus (twice), the Isles, Buffalo, Ottawa, San Jose, Detroit, Toronto and Washington also passed on Shinkaruk. Yet only Calgary is deemed "losers" in that one blog and gets criticized for it ... why? Cause he's a Calgarian? That's BS. When a third of the league passes on a player, you can't just single one team out, even if they have been a "laughing stock". It's just biased and unfair evaluation, especially when the other two 1st round picks are deemed good choices by virtually everbody.
