Would love to add Seguin if the price was right.
But we are in a rebuild and you build through the draft. There is a pretty good chance that our 1st round pick next year will be as good or better than Seguin.
I would be willing to build around Gaudreau because you have to give them talent back. But no 1sts and no Baertschi.
Also, no Glencross.
Backlund makes sense as Seguin would play C here.
I would do Gaudreau + Backlund + a 2nd, just like the rumour. But that's about it.
But keep in mind, adding Seguin probably means we're back in the 9-11 range next year, so it probably means we don't get a Reinhart/Ekblad kind of pick next year. Bad idea for the rebuild, IMO.
