I'm happy for them. Now they can re-focus on building a stronger fanbase and attracting players that want stability. As much as people want to harp on the average fans for not supporting the team for the past 4 years, it is really hard to convince people to dedicate themselves to a team that might be moving soon.
This is a new beginning for this franchise and I am happy for the fans. I do hope that Quebec City gets a team at some point, but that is a completely different issue.
Phoenix is a big TV market and has some geographic value as well. Not to mention the intrinsic value for franchise continuity within the league. It's never a good situation when a team is forced to relocate.
