And man would I feel like an ass if I never did touch that Cup for my own selfish purposes and desserted the team and the fans who supported my ass and loved me for years only to not only come up empty handed Stanley wise, but fan wise.

Stanley Cup is the ultimate prize fan loyalty only lasts as long as that player wears the jersey of the team they play for you have to make the money while you can and retire satisfied that you played your hardest.
