I think he already made that statement. Sick and tired of hearing that any guy who is worth anything in this league for over 10-15 years of service DESERVES a cup or a run at it. No one deserves anything. Be a damn hockey player and try and help your team get there if you got any loyalty. I would rather spend 20 years on the Flames and do my best than do 15 years, screw off cause I wanted to touch a Cup and fail at it because "I" wanted it or felt I "deserved" it. There have been many great players in the HOF who never touched a cup and stuck it out with their team cause they were about the team. They were team players- hockey is a team sport. And man would I feel like an ass if I never did touch that Cup for my own selfish purposes and desserted the team and the fans who supported my ass and loved me for years only to not only come up empty handed Stanley wise, but fan wise.
